At Cloverleaf Standardbred Owners’ Association’s 2023 Horse of the Year Awards Banquet, we honored Danny Herbst with the Cloverleaf Standardbred Owners’ Association Lifetime Achievement Award.
Dan Herbst has worked the track at Rosecroft for as long as most of our horsemen remember. Rosecroft’s track surface is known as one of the best in the country, and that is all thanks to the work ethic and knowledge of Dan Herbst.
It seemed fitting that Cloverleaf SOA, honored Danny Herbst with the 1st Annual Lifetime Achievement Award.
2024
Kenneth Schlotzhauer
Our 2nd Lifetime Achievement Honor went to Kenny Schlotzhauer. Kenny was a director of Cloverleaf SOA Board of Directors from 2003 – 2024, during his tenure he was President from 2018 – 2022. In 2024 the board of directors unanimously vote to make Kenny a honorary director.
As a trainer, Kenny has 10,332 starts with over 1,000 wins with almost $5,700,000 in earnings.
