In order to verify the horses planning to be entered in the Maryland Sire Stakes Races at Rosecroft, the following documentation is required prior to entering horses that have been transferred and/or purchased after January 1, 2024:

OWNER:
• Copies of training bills sent by the trainer along with evidence of payment (cancelled check or bank statement);

• Copies of blacksmith, vet, or stall bills for the horse along with evidence of payment (cancelled check or bank statement)

• Copy of the Bill of Sale for the horse identifying previous and new owner along with evidence of payment (cancelled check or bank statement)

TRAINER:
• Names of all horses and start date in your care for which you are listed as trainer.

• Names of all stable employees or independent contractors involved in the day to day care of the horses listed under your name as trainer.

• Location of all horses under your care, including farms and training centers, and any trainers who occupy the same barn.

• Names and addresses of all vendors you work with. (Farriers, veterinarians, tack and feed suppliers etc.)

• Copies of all bills sent to the owner/s of the horse/s for which you are the programmed trainer.

• Copies of proof of payment to all stable employees or independent contractors, including veterinarians, farriers, tack and feed suppliers.

• Copies of all deposit slips or bank documentation demonstrating payment related to the care for horses which you are the programmed trainer.

• Copies of evidence of proof of payment, if any, made to the farm or training center where your horses are stabled, trained, or turned out. If you are not the payer, indicate who is and their address.

Failure to fully comply with this request within the appropriate time will result in entries not being accepted and notification to the Maryland Racing Commission and the United States Trotting
Association.
