We have been made aware of recent incidents concerning horsemen & women conduct towards racing staff and state officials. A Zero-Tolerance Policy will be implemented effective IMMEDIATELY. While we understand that we are all passionate about our sport and the animals, we can not allow disrespectful conduct towards racing staff and state officials.
Prohibited Conduct
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
- Using profanity, vulgar language, or offensive slurs.
- Making personal attacks or derogatory comments.
- Threatening physical harm or engaging in any form of intimidation.
- Disregarding directives or instructions from racing staff or state officials.
- Engaging in any behavior that disrupts the orderly conduct of racing operations or official duties.
- Any action that undermines the authority or credibility of racing staff or state officials.
Consequences of Violation
Any violation of this Zero-Tolerance Policy will result in immediate and severe disciplinary action, which may include, but is not limited to:
- Fines and penalties as determined by the relevant racing authorities.
- Immediate removal from the racing premises.
- Suspension from participation in racing activities.
- Revocation of licenses or credentials.
- Permanent ban from all racing facilities.
- Reporting to law enforcement authorities if the conduct constitutes a criminal offense.
The severity of the disciplinary action will be determined based on the nature, severity, and frequency of the disrespectful conduct.
