Russell Foster drove on the Dover card Tuesday (Feb. 28), including a second place finish with Northern Express in the Open Trot. He then hightailed it 98 miles to Rosecroft to drive Richard Hans’ star trotter Yall Beneath Me in the $14,000 Open Trot at Rosecroft. That hustle paid off as the son of Googoo Gaagaa looked awesome in a 1:53.4 mile for the victory.

He is now 22-for-35 lifetime and holds three trotting track records dating back to his 2-year-old season.

Foster wasn’t done, as in the very next race he won with Sake Bomb for co-owners Carlin Savage and trainer Jay Gannon, and then finished the night with a second aboard Campbellini.

Jonathan Roberts won the $17,500 Mares Open Pace with Best Head West who toyed with a talented field, winning under wraps in 1:53 for trainer Michael Hall and the ownership duo of Let It Ride Stables and Bottom Line Racing.

Roberts won twice on the card as did Chris Scicluna.

David Rearic and Steven Robinson won Mid-Atlantic Amateur Drivers Club races. Reaeic scored with 15-year old Hi Sir who won for the 67th time in his career and Robinson scored with American Rock for Janet Davis, ending a losing streak due to various injuries that dated back to 2021. The son of Rocknroll Hanover nailed a game Hulou at the wire. Hulou cut fractions of :26.1, :55.2, and 1:24.3 only to lose by a neck.
